Wow, it has been a week since my first post (hehe). A lot happened this week and when I sit back and think about it, I started googling some tips about how experienced teachers could transition into a new #school in this #pandemic more readily, well-informed and mentally prepared.
Guess what?
There are tonnes of findings that I have seen for the tips and help and support and whatnot which is great, but for students and not teachers! Okay, let me add more to this, there are tips available online for teachers but it is mainly focusing on first-year teachers.
What about experienced #teachers like me?
Maybe I did not google it hard enough. Yup, that should be the reason why.
Coming back to school after almost 2 years of #teaching in isolation is not easy. Add a new #school on top of it, then it is a matter worth addressing. The social #anxiety is there, like Nora said when she commented on my post last week, the #fear of being misunderstood is also there.
There's no use to be shouting from the rooftop if I continue to stay helpless in this matter. So, I better start by contributing with what I know based on my own experience in the hope that it will benefit many experienced teachers out there who are in the same boat as me.
YOU ARE NOT ALONE.
I AM HERE WITH YOU.
WE CAN MAKE OUR JOURNEY TRANSITIONING TO A NEW SCHOOL AS A BEAUTIFUL MEMORY AND A MEANINGFUL ONE!
